Hello Dear Readers!

Today is the first Friday of the month and that means it is Floral Friday!

Wow did the month of October fly by!!

Today I am joining my sweet and talented friends of Floral Friday,

Lidy, Mary and Pam presenting our creations of a Harvest Celebration.

Their links are at the end of the post under their respective beautiful image.

A tremendous amount of beautiful floral inspiration is here for you today

to enjoy and hopefully help you create one of your own!

I am a bit of an out of the box type of person, so I thought I would use

some colors that I used last Fall….lavenders and plum.

The First Room Reveal at Berry Patch

Hello Dear Readers!

Things here at the Berry Patch house are coming along.

I am still surrounded by boxes to unpack . . . and items waiting in the wings

to find a new home . . . or be banished to the “STORE ME ROOM”.

Even though some of this is not a fun task,

I must say I am having fun trying to figure out furniture arrangements

and where I want to hang artwork and pretties.

Today, I shall present the first room reveal at Berry Patch, a.k.a. the rental house.

The Dining Room.

Dining Room Refresh and Changes

We decided that we should think about reducing the items on the wall in the dining room

to make it look less cluttered. So as much as I hated to, the shutters on each side

of the the bay window area came down along with the vintage brackets/corbels

and the Paris paintings that were hung next to the hutch.

I must say, that it opened up the room . . . which also led to me doing some

tweaking of the dining room hutch.

So here we go with the:

Two Bunny Themed Centerpieces

It’s that time of the year when we are thinking cute bunnies!

Last week I found some very adorable bunnies at HomeGoods.

They were holding the Golden Egg.

The wheels started turning in my head . . . you could actually hear the squeaking!

I thought that there were so many things that I could do with them and I have.

Today, I present you with the first of the series of The Bunnies with the Golden Egg.

A Spring Dish Garden

Welcome to Floral Friday!

Today it is all about A Spring Dish Garden.

It all started with a new bowl by Pottery Barn.

The large double handle bowl from the Sonoma Vase Collection.

It reminded me a little bit of the French Tian bowl (without the handles).

The Tian  was mainly used to make Cassoulets, Ratatouille, and

storing fruits and vegetables to name a few of its purposes.

I placed this bowl on the dining room table knowing that I wanted to place some

pretty Spring flowers in it.

How To Easily and Inexpensively Flock A Christmas Tree

For many years, I have had a Christmas tree in my dining room.

It is usually a small slim tree that can be easily placed in a corner.

This year I wanted to do something different, without breaking the bank.

A bit of a different look. I then had an epiphany!

I remembered something that I have used in the past

to embellish my plain miniature Christmas trees.

So today I shall show you how to easily and inexpensively flock a Christmas tree.

But first, let me show you last year’s dining room christmas tree.

Beyond the Doors

They say it is always good to have a second pair of eyes.

Eyes that see differently ….. from a different perspective.

This is exactly what happened the day of the photo shoot

by ShowSpaces Photography.

I noticed the photographer kept opening doors. Hmmm, I thought, for more light?

The photographer stated that you need to see what is beyond the doors.
