One table with 5 different looks.

This table gets a makeover quite often . . .

So today I thought that I would present its many facelifts.

Springtime is the perfect time to style a table of tulips

Another tulip arrangement that was a “just because” gift from my sister . . .

~ ~ sparked this new vignette.

I love the Fall so that I can use great pumpkins, gourds and seasonal flowers . . .

~ ~ to create a one of my very favorite Seasonal Fall Vignettes.

Oh did I say that the Fall was one of my favorite times to decorate this table?

Let me correct this statement . . . Yes, I so love the Fall season . . .

~ ~ however, hands down a Christmas Table Vignette is my most favorite to create.

As who can resist placing the cute animals of winter on a table to enjoy.

Whether it be Spring, Summer, Fall or Winter . . .

~ ~ I love including silver into my table vignettes.

Silver and daisies . . . one of my favorite combinations of elegance and simplicity.

Combining the textures of metal and natural elements as seen in this Spring Table Vignette.

As I look at the past vignettes on this table . . .

~ ~ I am now thinking about creating a Fall tablescape.

I know…this is still July, but today, the temperature in my car said 71 degrees . . .

~ ~ with record breaking lows in many areas.

So, did your temps fall like ours did? . . . what a pleasant surprise.

Have a great day doing the things you love with the ones you love!

A Fall Tablescape….Pottery Barn Inspired.

Who cannot resist the beautiful products of Pottery Barn..I can’t!

…..I saw these plates this Fall and had to have them.

I used them throughout my Fall decor in my home.

So today, I gathered them together and created a Fall Tablescape.

The table inspiration also came from this pillow from Pottery Barn…

I gathered my collection of Fall foliage and started creating a centerpiece in my wooden French apple basket..

This cute faux pumpkin is also from Pottery Barn.

And then there are the real pumpkin/gourds…love the color!

I adore my little turkey that I found at a yard sale for one dollar..! 🙂

A view from the other side of the table:

These plates really set the tone for the table…

The square brown chargers are from Tar-Jay on clearance for $2.00 🙂

I used a combination of silk and dried florals and pods…

The large dried flowers and pods are also a great yard sale find…

A few weeks ago, I received this beautiful item that I had ordered…

From Ann of Sutton Place Designs:

A great addition to my Fall decor:

Such an incredible time of the year to count our blessings as “We Gather Together”….

I hope you enjoyed my Fall Tablescape today….this is my second one for the year…

…..I did one a few months ago…for a “pre Fall” party…you can see it here:

As I am enjoying the crisp Fall weather and Mother Nature’s gift of gorgeous, magnificent colors…

…..I cannot help but think of the many people who have suffered the devastation from Hurricane Sandy.

We keep them in our thoughts and prayers.

So as “We Gather Together” this season….

HOMETALK is supporting a great cause to help with the victims of this disaster….

…..It is called Socks for Sandy….to provide the much needed warmth of socks, hats and gloves to the victims.

You can help these victims by sending socks, hats, or gloves for any age group or gender…

Please mail by Friday, November 9th…as these items are so urgently needed!

You can mail these to:

Socks for Sandy
PO Box 520
Little Egg Harbour, NJ 08087

Fall Harvest Tablescape

Whisperwood Cottage is having a Fall Decor Contest….

The winner gets the tremendous honor of being published in the Cottages and Bungalows magazine….

So I sent hubby up to the attic to retrieve some fall decorations….

….and those who know my hubby….

……….he knew just where to go…Aisle 2, Shelf 3.

It was a bit funny doing a Fall Tablescape when it was 90 degrees outdoors….

However, as I was creating this tablescape, I felt cool breezes wafting through the air…

…..The table is set with Jewel Tea Autumn Leaf by Hall.

I started collecting these wonderful dishes years ago…

…..They were just perfect for a Fall Tablescape.

I bordered the “centerpiece” with chicken wire and twig garland…

I was going for an “after the harvest” look…

…..remnants of hay bales and garlands of acorns.

The scene of children playing in the harvested fields….

…..this figurine is by Department 56.

I love using unusual things such as chicken wire for the table…

…..a bit of the unexpected.

Fall is one of my very favorite times of the year…

…..I am blessed to live in an area where the leaves are brilliant during the fall.

I am expecting company in a few days…

…..I think I shall leave my table as is…

……….just to see their reaction of sitting at a Harvest Table…

……………….at the end of July!!!

In addition to joining the Whisperwood Fall Decor Contest….
