Vintage French Scale, A Centuries Old French Stock Pot and More French Treasures

I love scales . .

When I spotted this scale at a very large Antique shop in France . .

I knew it had to come home with me . .

~ ~ or should I say, it had to be added to the stash going in the container!

However, as most of you know, there was much more than a scale that was shipped home.

Before I start with the pics, I want to thank everyone for your birthday wishes.

~ ~ I spent my birthday with my family . . always a good one spent with your loved ones!

The vintage scale and centuries old stock pot.

The stock pot has an incredible pewter lid.

It also has an inner lid in which the antique shop owner said was rare for it to have “survived”

I placed my pitcher of silver spoons on the other side of the scale.

Love that I can showcase both the scale and the stock pot together.

How can you not leave France and purchase the wonderful Herbs de Provence ~

I actually bought this at the airport as we were departing.

Then there are the cute glass yogurt cups ~ ~ We ate our yogurt each morning . .

~ ~ ~ and saved our containers! ~ ~ Oh those tourists!!!

A bit of Rosemary and Olive Oil ~ ~

For my birthday, my friend Barbara filled a vase filled with Rosemary…

~ ~ and attached a gift card to my favorite garden center.

So I replaced the Christmas trees with the most fragrant Rosemary.

We all purchased the Olive Oil at the airport before departing too.

I actually did most of my souvenir shopping at the Paris airport. 🙂

I bought 3 French Jam Jars ~ ~ love them.

Waiting for an epiphany for a creative use for them.

My “French Antique Kitchenwares Vignette” ~ ~ and more French kitchen items to share soon.

~ ~ and the only space that there are no Christmas decorations!

Working on doing that this week ~ ~ and next ~ ~ and next!

Have a wonderful day!!
