Over the holidays we usually have many guests…
…..so it is appropriate that I also decorate that room in the spirit of the season.
I try to have a tree in every room in my house…including the guests rooms..
…..this tree is a gold metal tree decorated in the color scheme of the room.
I added a twig garland to the trunk of the tree…
…..and antique fishing floats to the base.
All of the ornaments and the tree were purchased after Christmas…love those sales!!
I love these porcelain “flower petal ornaments”..and the “new vintage” blue ornaments…
and there is always a bird or two in my trees…
And across the bed is the dresser…our very first dresser…just waiting to be painted..
…..one day….
Now….in case you are wondering how I attach these ornaments to the tree…
…..I will tell you my secret…I cut the wire portion of a wired ribbon…
……….they are like mini pipe cleaners!
There are no birds in the tree, but placed one at the base!
Bliss….a perfect, beautiful word…
You will see Byers Carolers throughout the house…
I placed my cotton grapevine wreath over the iron gate…
A cotton arrangement made by Kristen sits on top of a wicker stand below the gate…
A collection of ceramic angels adorn the other nightstand…
A bit of my things on top of the lingerie chest…a rhinestone adorned clock I purchased many years ago…
And now we move into the guest bathroom….
Some quirky ceramic trees on the vanity…
They all lean in a different direction….
And what’s a tree without a bird?!!
Here we are in the “loo”…
Another wreath that I made….
So I hope you enjoyed “the tour” of my guest bedroom and bath…
Tonight our Linky Party of “Better Late Than Never” Christmas Inspirations…
It starts at 8 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, December 11th…
Hope to see you there!!!
