I was fortunate to have had the pleasure of touring the HGTV Smart Home in Raleigh, NC
and wrote several posts about the home and one of the posts states how serendipitous it was.
I met the builder of the HGTV Smart Home and discovered that they also built in the same subdivision
that my son was researching to buy a home.
To make a long story short, I told my son how impressed I was with the quality of the
Homes by Dickerson and told him that he may want to consider looking into their homes.
He did, was impressed, and bought one of their homes.
The other day I participated with many of my bHome friends and bloggers
in a Fall Inspiration Tour.
On that tour I presented one of my porches dressed for Fall.
Today I would like to share the porches that were on the tour
which will be sure to give you some great ideas to “fall-i-fy” your porch too.
First up is Debbie, from Debbie Doo’s
I love the fact that she painted her rockers a sunny yellow
which makes her front porch just pop with amazing color.
Oh that Laura of Duke Manor Farm (formerly Top This Top That)
and her amazing porch that I would love to emulate
with the gorgeous shades of blue. I just may need to paint my ceiling blue too!
Ann of On Sutton Place has such a warm and cozy porch.
Ann is a very talented lady and I must say that I own quite a few of her fabulous
pillows and other sewing projects.
She shows us how she displayed her mums in wonderful olive buckets.
Kim, from Savvy Southern Style recently added a pergola to her back deck
courtesy of Mr. Savvy. Of course soon after the pergola was in place,
Kim created a beautiful outdoor room and now it is beautifully dressed for Fall.
And last but not least, if you missed my Fall Porch you can see it HERE
Last week, I reviewed a home decor book, “French Accents”
by my friend and fellow blogger Anita Joyce of Cedar Hill Farmhouse.
I loved the book so much that I decided to buy another one to give away.
Thanks to all of you who entered this giveaway!
And here is the winner . . . by random selection by Rafflecopter.
Congratulations Cecilia!!
Have a wonderful day everyone,
making your own kind of music and singing your own special song!
