One of the very first rooms that I decorate for the Holidays
is the Master Bedroom.
Maybe it is because I decorate it for the most part for the Winter
as opposed to strictly in a Christmas theme.

In keeping with the more simplistic holiday decor, I decided to dress the master bedroom
with the Pottery Barn Winter Birds collection as I did last year.
I did use different pillows and accents as the room has definitely changed from last year.
I just love this bedding that can take you right through with winter months.
Holiday Bedding and Bedroom Christmas Decor

So what did I want to do first, as far as starting on my Christmas decorating?
~~~ Change out my bedding to the holiday bedding, as it can be out for more than just a month.
I changed the bedding out to the Winter Birds bedding by Pottery Barn ~~
~~~ that I purchased last year.
I looked at the Pottery Barn website and did not see this bedding ~~
~~~ I wonder if they had discontinued it .. if so, so glad I bought it last year.
This past Spring I was lucky to find the plaid Euro Shams on clearance at Pottery Barn.
Love the contrast of the fabrics.
My bedside table ~~
Took the lid off the reticulated ginger jar and dropped a cyclamen in the jar..
~~~ I so love cyclamen this time of year!
My hubby’s bedside table ~~ a simple vintage style Santa (nothing to “foo-foo” as he says..)
I just may be taking the lids off of many of my “jars” this year ~~ and placing holiday greenery in them!
Rather than replacing the chandelier ~~ I think for now I will add crystals.
A new chandy on my 2014 Wish list!
