Welcome to my first “Ever So Clever, Ever So Pretty” series….
…..I am always in awe of the many clever and talented bloggers…
I am always saying…”that is really a great project..I really need to do that”!…but do I do it…??
…..sometimes!
So this series will force me to “just do it”….
This week has been hectic with many things happening…like preparing for the opening of my antique booth…
So I chose a pretty simple, but great project!
The inspiration comes from two bloggers….11 Magnolia Lane and My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia...and a blogger’s sister.. Common Ground
Here are their projects that inspired me…
My Uncommon Slice of Suburbia…
So here I go…making my version of the moss covered monogram…
I decided to incorporate the monogram in a wreath.
Supplies…Grapevine wreath…sheet moss…wooden letter.
Now you are probably wondering why I am not using my new craft table…?!!…
…..It’s because it is filled with things to take to my booth!…making tags!
I bought a regular grapevine wreath…but I prefer the ones that are wispier…but they are more expensive…
…..so I take my wire cutters and snip at the vines
So clip and pull the vines away…you can get that “wispy” look without the “wispy” price!
I then proceeded to cover the wood monogram with the sheet moss…using a glue gun.
Ta da!!!…I “just did it”…
I hung it below the mantel…It may eventually go onto the shutters above the mantel…
I glued moss to the tips of the vines…
Thank you for visiting me today for my first “Ever So Clever, Ever So Pretty” Friday Series…
So many wonderful, creative and talented bloggers out there…
…I thank you all for so many inspirations that you have given me!!
