The other day, I was “on the hunt” for a new pillow for the great room.
I really did not have anything in mind . . . other than it had to coordinate with a gold throw.
The pillow is crewel work of a pretty gold and brown flower . . .
~ ~ it reminded me of the colors of sunflowers.
Found the throw at HomeGoods too . . it has a “furry” texture on one side . . .
~ ~ and a velvet texture on the other side.
After I left HomeGoods, I went directly to Trader Joe’s to purchase some sunflowers.
I grabbed my red transferware pitcher that I purchased on my France trip and arranged the flowers.
My newly purchased ironstone tureen (my Pennsylvania deal) holds red apples for added color to the table.
I changed out the garden stool that stood beside the chair and added the French Wine Picnic Basket . . .
~ ~ another find from France.
Funny how a item such as this pillow can inspire you to change things about . . .
~ ~ to keep the room fresh and interesting. Pretty changes . . . a good thing.
Have a wonderful day filled with inspiration!
