Well, you know I took the plunge and did it!….
…..Moved into Space 24 of Melville Trading, located at 127 West Clay Street in Mebane, NC.
I have embarked on this new adventure with Amy of Atta Girl Says…
Amy is a very talented and creative person….so I know I can learn much from her…
…..and maybe pick her brain from time to time on the technical issues of blogging.
The antique mall is about 45 minutes from me…but I do not mind the drive as it is a beautiful drive…
…..through the countryside..passing many farms like this one:
So, here is our little booth.
It is difficult with the lighting to get great pics…
Now we are otherwise known as CAPRICORN LANE….
…..as Amy and I share the same birthday of January 4th…We are Happy Cappys!…
The banner says coming soon…but we have finally arrived!
And there is “Milly” in the background…that beautifully painted secretary that Amy so lovingly restored.
There are vintage school items, such as a school desk and chalkboard/easel..and lots of accessories…
…..of milk glass, depression glass, and vintage kitchen wares.
And here is that pretty antique rocking horse of Amy’s in front of that desk that she painted.
And how about that terrific vintage laundry cart!!…
Lots of vintage kitchen items to see…
There’s a crocheted spread and shams in the laundry cart.
Rhonda of Ramblings of a Southern Girl came by to pay us a visit…She liked the crocheted spread.
Rhonda then walked around to peruse the other booths…when she came back to get that crocheted spread..
……….it was gone…someone had bought it…as Rhonda said, when you snooze you lose…Sorry Rhonda!
So if you are in the area, come by and pay us a visit…we are always bringing in new items..
Like this wicker baby scale that I have decided to part with.
Thanks for visiting and hope you have a wonderful day!!
